Global Prep Summer Camps

Come to Germany, meet people from around the world and explore fascinating topics

You would like to experience life abroad, engage with cultures and issues that are important to you, and you want to gain critical skills for your future. No matter if that future involves a college application or a solo trek through the Amazon, our AFS Global Prep camps will prepare you for both!

DSC_0170Our Global Prep Summer Camps are designed for high school students from all over the world. In 2016 we offer four different Global Prep Summer Camps in Germany. The programs are packed with exciting workshops and excursions as well as lots of fun activities. We also designed a special curriculum on intercultural learning and reflection to help you explore the different cultures of your fellow camp participants. This way you will gain the most from your experiences.

Our camps are designed for international groups, therefore the language spoken is English. So good English communication skills (especially speaking abilities) are essential, German language skills are not required.

You will live in a group accommodation with shared bedrooms. Camp counselors will be with the group full time. The program covers full board.
